In February 2020 I was asked by Ben Thomas, MD of All Things Management Ltd to produce a number of portraits to raise awareness of mental health issues and advice in the local Northamptonshire community. This shoot involved photographing over 30 people on one evening in a local community centre using studio lights and background. All the volunteer participants were ‘real people’ and have at some point experienced mental health issues themselves or helped family and friends with their mental health. The images needed to be sympathetic in style and tone but eye catching and hard hitting to grab the viewers attention to raise factual awareness and help.

These images will be used throughout the year across many social media sites and by a number of organisations such as All Things Management Ltd, Medigold Health, Mind, Samaritans and local charity WeMindAndKellyMatters. More about the campaign as well as a video filmed on the evening of the shoot can be seen here.

Please feel free to share this blog post to continue to raise awareness and use tags #WellingboroughCares and WeMindAndKellyMatters

This is great Graham, such an important thing to be highlighting, and your photos are spot on as always.
