During the summer of 2025, I was commissioned to produce a body of architectural photography for a co-working and flexible office space management company with multiple locations across London. The brief was clear: create a cohesive set of exterior images that reflected the character, quality and individuality of each building. What you see here is a small selection from a long but rewarding day spent travelling around the capital, photographing several sites from early morning through to late afternoon.
With multiple locations to capture in a single day, planning was critical. I mapped each address carefully, studying sun-tracking apps and satellite views to determine how the light would fall at different times. The aim was to avoid heavy backlighting and ensure each façade was presented with clarity and balance. Timings were arranged so I would arrive at each building when the sun was positioned at the most favourable angle.
Architectural photography in London always involves an element of patience. Traffic flows, pedestrians and delivery vehicles are part of the city’s rhythm. In several instances I waited for lights to turn red to allow a naturally clear foreground, or for the sun to emerge from behind passing clouds to provide clean, even illumination across the brickwork and glazing.
Authenticity was important. The skies you see are real – no AI replacements or fabricated backdrops. All framing and composition were completed in camera on the day, ensuring each building is represented truthfully and proportionately. Post-production was handled sympathetically, focusing on refining contrast, colour balance and detail that were already present. The goal was not to transform the scene, but to heighten what existed in front of the lens. The result is a consistent and honest visual record of thoughtfully designed London workspaces, buildings that combine heritage façades with contemporary interventions.
If you’re seeking architectural photography in London that is carefully planned, technically precise and grounded in authenticity, I’d be pleased to discuss your project.
