I’m a dedicated advertising and commercial photographer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the subjects that surround us in everyday life. I specialise in people, portraits and the built environment of architecture and interiors. I aim to bring a unique perspective to every project I undertake.  My down-to-earth, friendly and professional character fosters strong working relationships directly with businesses or alongside advertising agencies. Across all clients, my drive remains the same; to create compelling imagery that resonates with audiences and achieves the desired impact.

My main body of work and commissions which I undertake are:

• Portrait Photography: It’s important to have clear and uniform portraits of all staff members in today’s visual word of media outlets and client facing roles. Having professional portraits of staff on their LinkedIn profiles, ‘Meet the Team’ web pages and email signatures shows customers the high level of professionalism your company adhere to.
• Architectural Photography: I have a keen eye for composition and detail as well as using natural light to bring architectural details within buildings to life, helping to creative striking imagery of buildings and wider developments.
• Interior Photography: The crowning glory of any building is almost always the interior. The space which encapsulates the people using the building needs to be photographed in a sympathetic and considered manner. I always immerse myself in the interior before the camera is even out of the bag. With a keen eye for detail and strong lines of vision I walk around the interior making note of where best to position and angle the camera for the right ‘balance of subjects’ within the frame.
• Editorial Photography: I really enjoy meeting people and capturing their unique personalities through the lens. My editorial subjects are ‘real people’ who have kindly let me photograph them, either for my personal portfolio or following a commission from a magazine or publisher, to help describe and tell an editorial piece. The moments I capture from behind the lens are always sympathetic to the people in the images and clearly illustrate the angle on a story that the editor has chosen to tell.
• Event Photography: As part of my work fulfilling the marketing needs of leading businesses (through headshots, project launches, PR and advertising), I am often asked to provide the additional role of photographing their corporate events. This can include client networking, seminars, staff training, team-building days, multinational AGMs and social parties. Delivering professional corporate event photography of speakers, guests and employees in a natural, ‘reportage’ style requires me to be unobtrusive and subtle.

Since my career in photography started, straight after my degree in 2004, I have enjoyed working in both the creative and corporate world, it’s an honour to be able to mix creativity and commerce into my working life. My career in photography has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of effective photographic techniques, allowing me to seamlessly navigate every stage of the creative process, from concept to post-production. With each project, I am personally invested in every detail, ensuring consistency and excellence across all stages of the process. At the heart of my approach lies a commitment to excellence and a passion for bringing ideas to life.
